I bought the bowl at a craft fair somewhere in Buckinghamshire in the 80s and it has resided in my parent's house while I have been in Spain these past 12 years. I've always liked it so thought I'd record it on my mum's kitchen worksurface which is nicely tiled in a very cheerful red. I used to serve heaps of steamingly hot pasta in it! The bowl is EXTREMELY heavy which is why it hasn't travelled due to Ryan Air's weights policy! Of course you don't normally place blueberries and raspberries in a fruit bowl such a this.
