I never posted this and I wonder why. Maybe because it's not as spectacular as some of the other sunrises I captured from this high rise flat I lived in in 2012 / 13. But I like those cloud formations. And I just noticed - 10 years ago! ...and it seems like yesterday!

I had hoped to provide some more Cornwall material by now but it just hasn't been possible (yet). In the meantime, a slightly belated H. A. N. W. E. to all! (On large works quite well, I feel)

Another spectacular dawn. I was priviliged to see some of these for a time at a previous high rise flat.

I saw a lot of these in 2012 / 2013. I have seen very few since! Interesting fact: shot taken at midsummer and dawn is incredibly late (for us Brits), at 6 am approx. It means that ther are some days, even in summer, when I leave to take an early morning class and return after an evening class, when I don't get to see daylight at all! And that is depressing! Unlike some of my sunrise / sunset shots there was very little editing done here, just the frame and some cropping (from memory - it was 5 and a half years ago).

At one time I came here 4-5 times a week to give English classes. Sometimes early - this is a shot taken at dawn.

Back in 2013, for a few months, I lived in a high-rise block and used to wake up to terrific sunrises!

One of the joys of teaching Business English is the early start of a morning! Top executives want to have their classes between 7 and 8:30. I do sometimes get to see sunrises in compensation!
