Ship Sailing On a Sea of Stars Keel Nebula NGC3199

The Ancient Mariner NGC 3199 one I took before but it never looked like this at all, An old wooden ship sailing on a sea of stars. This is a shot I did want to come back to and do it some justice as I was not happy with the first one I did. Now I believe I have done it some justice this time so much so I am also taking the other nebula in the first shot as well NGC3247.

This was my final night in Perth Before getting on the plane. The Antares area or Rho Ophiuchi two nights. I was doing the Milky way panorama so this could rise up. The camera was rotated to get the dark rivers in the full photo A far cry from the original photo I took in may 2019 PIP.

This started out with the thought of capturing all the parts of the milky way you have seen on my pages. This is only half way 8 night and 8 panels and 8 more below to go.
The end panorama will go from Fighting Dragons just to the right in the middle all the way down to just below the eagle nebula. This is put on hold as I am going to NZ finally to clear on my parents house.
This will only be looked at once I get back in WA in three weeks and try and find clear night. This is taken with my Nikon 105mm Macro lens did a great job who said you have to have expensive equipment.
Enjoy a view of the Milky way not even I have ever see in all my years of taking photos.

In between the Wishing well nebula/ Constellation
And the statue Of Liberty
This was shot over three night but in truth I can not get over the dust on the front glass of the ED80 and the Guide scope. I had to clean down each night in an effort to get a better photo.

I went hunting Orion but found it so high it was almost too hard to photograph. The photo I got inspires me to wait till next year to get it even better before posting.

At the end of the night I put the 14mm on the tracker and took the Milky Way which by this time was right above my head. this is 6 shots stacked together of 4 min exposure time each I went for ten but the dew build up was far too strong on the latters shots.
A note I have replaced the laptop edit now I have my desktop back. Enjoy some of outer space.

150-600 mm lens on the tracker. the new way of finding South I got a 1 min shot here is 50 min Of shot time with all the Back files as well. I am finally quite happy to go out at night and take photos.
I was not able to use the Laser pointer as we had French photographers who came to WA to enjoy our night skies. It took me 4 shot at 150 mm to find them. Enjoy.

I went out to try and get better. PiP shows the 14mm view. 56 shots stacked in Sequator with the matching back files all up 200+ shots used to get this.
Hardest part I find is then having to edit the photo as we cant see this detail by eye at all. Surpasses my first few shots. I feel happier with the method of set up on this and how it turned out. no I did not look for the 4 stars I looked for the stars trailing and moved to reverse it 5 goes I was happy pin points 2m 35sec and no tracking @ 200mm. BUT pays to lock the head back down so I went to the old ways to try a beat the clouds coming in.

Top PIP Lake at the other end of this shot you will note its a bit later about 30 min from when we left here.
bottom PIP contrast the emu in the western bow rather than the eastern main photo.
