Doerthe's photos with the keyword: World Photography Day

This osprey is one of the parents I observed midday today, Aug. 19th at the northern part of Stony Creek Metropark nature center, Macomb County, Michigan, USA. The nest is located on top of a TV tower three miles from our home. I watched both parents approach the nest, feeding an almost adult chick, then circling overhead before flying off to hunt for more food.
