Merging with another travel group
![]() |
Over time, I ended up managing two travel groups, This one and www.ipernity.com/group/travelphoto. Both have the same focus, and many of the posts overlap.
Duplicate groups like this don’t really make sense. They just create extra work for admins and members. Plus, it’s not very exciting for visitors to see the same posts twice.
To simplify things, I’m planning to merge the two groups early next year. You don’t need to do anything - your posts and memberships will be automatically moved to the new, combined group.

Bergfex club1. With regard to ipernity's public image, I think it is favourable if a group has existed for a long time. The age of the group should therefore be taken into account.
2. For the same reason, the URL should be as short and meaningful as possible.
3. With regard to the members, I think it is favourable if the fewest members have to ‘move’.
The relevant data is as follows:
travel: ID=25.363 (17 years old), 84 members
travelphoto: ID=25.399 (17 years old), 68 members
travelphotos: ID=2.460.378 (5 years old), 27 members
Bergfex clubwww.ipernity.com/group/travelogue_by-felixssc ID=331.775 (11 years old), 95 members
www.ipernity.com/group/25600 (17 years old), 15 members
I will try to include it in the merger
