The theme of this month's competition is... (or should I say are) brooms and brushes.
Sweeping brooms, prop witch's brooms and nimbuses, car wash brushes, make-up brushes, painter brushes, performing solo and in packs, laying around and in use. Anything goes provided it is a broom or a brush ;)
Up to two contributions are expected, as usually. Please add "Prime Lenses 0915" to your tags, and post links or thumbnails in this thread.
The competition will close at 2359 GMT September 30 2015; the winner will choose next month's theme.
Let's have fun!
Update:
It has been decided to let the competition run through October,
So the new deadline is 2359 GMT October 31 2015.
Come on, girls and boys! Brooms and brushes are around you every day!

But if you and George (as the admin) and eventually other members agree to let the competition run a bit longer, I am all for it!
What do you say?

Hurry up! The clock is ticking!
One thing more: I will not be around at midnight.
Tomorrow is All Saints Day - on that day in Poland people use to visit the graves of deceased relatives and other people that they care about.
So I plan to get up very early to follow the tradition. I'll be back in the evening, of course.
Just bear with me, please!
I am back and now it is time for tough decisions.
I have to choose the winner...
Why it is so difficult?
Because all your contributions are interesting and perfectly address the theme of the competition.
Now I am stalling... aren't I?
Heads-up!
Walfish (first) - there is so much dignity in abandonment and your choice of sepia toning is excellent!
tiabunna - simple and cute :) really nice!
Walfisch (second) - beautiful light and extraordinary colors!
Xata - extraordinary object! At least to me, as I've never seen anything similar before :)
Gillian Everett - lovely red and good composition - very decorative as it happens :)
I wish the rules allowed me to award more than one work, but as I have to make the definite choice, my vote goes to Walfish's first contribution!
With all others being runners-up :)
Congratulations!
.
I will need one or two days to find a new theme (after the september-experience I think about "cats" or "leaves" to make it easier ;-)
