ipernity: Group: New Flickr Survivors

Hi there,

I come from flickr mostly because the tiled view is not usable for me and a slow connection. But I have the ompression that ipernity became slower and slower, especially the "news" part and causing 100 % cpu load for half an eper... ah, eternity. Cpu load at flickr is high only for a short moment, there su the traffic the limiting factor.

I guess the programming of the epernity sites need some serious speed improvements.

Yes . I also think that my Ipernity loading is much slower lately. The log-in drop down box is VERY slow to drop down some days. The traffic must be bogging things down badly. Let's hope that it will be corrected soon.

I haven't noticed any slowness. Sometimes the connection to the site is slow but that happens occasionally with any site and probably is due to high network traffic.

It's amazing, few hours after a support inquiry with the usual trivial answers the site now runs fast and smooth. As if somebody broke up the gordian knot. I didn't change anything. Hm...... :-)
