This is an exciting time. It is the start of the next chapter in Ipernity's life.
Already, many existing club members have renewed their membership. A growing number of new people have joined, as well. However, some people have had some challenges completing the process of becoming paid club members.
The most common technical issue that has arisen is the result of major financial institutions' and major credit card companies' not recognizing the Skrill platform. The result has been blocked payments and, in cases, disabled credit cards as a precaution to protect cardholders from payments fraud. In light of the recent hacking of Equifax and highly visible prior incidents that affected a number of major retailers, financial institutions and credit card companies are likely to remain very cautious.
To minimize the risk of such issues, people interested in paying for a club membership should avoid Skrill. Instead, people should use PayPal, which is widely-recognized worldwide.
What if one doesn't have a PayPal account?
No problem. One does not need a PayPal account to use the PayPal feature. One can simply select an appropriate option for credit or debit card payments.
The following .PDF document provides instructions and screenshots for using the PayPal interface to purchase club memberships using credit or debit cards.
