Interesting - Isabel,.. a short 3 legged 'never rocks' stool for a purpose,. here in Sheffield UK. hundreds were made just the same but taller,. for steelworkers to polish (buffer) and finish cutlery at their benches - known as 'Buffer girls' the industry has much depleted.. // Keep well and a HFF to you - from David J.

Gave it a few days ago to a friend’s granddaughter, the 4 years old one is enchanted with it, she even would take it to school!!!

Yep, that's the right size :-) And I'm happy to read that the 4-year old is enchanted with it and even wanted to take it to school. Why not? We live in the age of individualism, so why not bring your own favorite chair to school? ;-))

But as it is “vintage”… better stay home !

Ok, I see your point. Little kids have no idea about vintage, for them it's only the present and the future. Lucky kids :-)

Coming from a rural area, these little stools used to be everywhere, but are seldom seen these days Isabel, lovely capture, HBM!
