In spite of the less than ideal weather your Iceland photos are exccellent! I also would like to visit Iceland in winter even though the travel radius is somwhat restricted then.

Fotoadrenalina wants to go there end October... I did not make a decision yet, I will go to Laponia in March with the organiser, I will talk about it first, if it is very different from what I saw (different spots, etc) I will.

I have been to Iceland in early October and was rather unlucky, only 1,5 good days in the whole week, otherwise torrential rain and storm. Autumn always is a bit "iffy" because of the many lows and storm fronts passing through the island.
