Road junction in Sanur on Bali


A statue is used in the middle for a roundabout traffic. The Swastika on the backside of the statue is seen everywhere on Bali and is a sign out of the very old tradition. Nothing is simular to the disgusting history of the German National Socialism !!!

Wolfgang club has replied to DeliriumDie Swastika bedeutet umgesetzt "Glücksbringer" und ist seit gut 6.000 Jahren überall in Asien, wie z.B. Indien, China, Tibet, Japan und eben auch auf Bali gebräuchlich.
Leider ist es heute so, dass man beim Anblick einer Swastika fast immer nur an den Nationalsozialismus denkt. Aber Milliarden Asiaten können nichts dafür, dass ihr Zeichen von einem verabscheungswürdigen Regime missbraucht wurde und damit in der Gegenwart meist mit dieser in Verbindung gebracht wird.
