A Delem statue dressed in checked clothes

Delem is the servant to the demon Rawana. Like the other clown characters Delem also serves as a translator, but is prideful, has a harsh voice and is master of deception and conceit.
You often will find this statue as a welcome sign in front of the house entrance.
The black and white checked pattern means all the worlds contradictions like heaven and hell, water and fire, day and night, good and bad ect.
