A few sunny days have started the snowdrifts receeding... it's fun to see what emerges.

Looking south...
Standing on the tip of Point Pelee, looking south across Lake Erie, toward the USA shoreline.
At this point I'm south of the 42nd parallel... so where the hell is spring?!

The small ferry "Pelee Islander" sits frozen fast in the Leamington Harbour. She's dreaming of spring and getting back to the island...

The roadside diner is in a new building... but is a straight throw-back to the 50"s...
Red vinyl booths, ... chrome stools, ... a long, curved soda and sundaes counter, ... sock-hop tunes on the neon jukebox.
