This one wandered away from the brood... he won't be around for long!

This one was so tiny that even small twigs were huge hurdles on the trip to the water's edge...

After a few wet tries at getting a drink... this one finally just sat down and waited for the waves to come in closer!

Already down to just three goslings... and they are only a few days old...

Yup - I have a *real* theatre poster from the movie release... It's okay - you can drool!

They are everywhere! Many folk are complaining of infestations of ladybugs at this time of the year ... One colleague vacuums up several dozens of them daily and curses as they wander across his computer screen and keyboard. The scientific names for these lovelies are Coleoptera, meaning "sheath-winged", and Coccinellidae, meaning "little red sphere".... and many farms pay thousands of dollars to import these avid aphid eaters! All I can say is - if you are infested, you are sitting on ( in?) a gold mine... there's money to be made in them thar bugs!
