Haha, goed gezien Wierd!

Ken je het witte plaatsje Thorn in Nederland? Daar zijn vroeger ook heel veel ramen dicht gemetseld. Niet zomaar, maar dat had een reden. Als ik het goed heb, moest er aan de gemeente belasting betaald worden, naar gelang het aantal ramen / vensters en deuren dat er in de woning zaten... Dus: dichtmetselen dan maar als je er niet aan kon voldoen. Dat was in de 19e eeuw vanaf 1812 reeds!
