The Longdendale Trail

Oooh, such a lovely path.........and it seems like quite easy walking (which is what a need nowadays)!

I like the avenue of trees and the light and dappled shadows are lovely!

Yes the easy walking is a great idea. my sister is happy on these flat surfaces. As you may have noticed I have been up and down some hilly walks and well, all I can say is I get different aches and pains the next day and have decided to take a rest.

I used to be able to hike in most terrains Colin, but old age and arthritis make it difficult nowadays. My wife has to use a walker to get about but I can still manage a couple miles or so on the flat.

We still do our best, but slowly, and with less distance :-)))

Basically, the further something is from the car, the less photogenic it becomes :-)))

Agreed and a bonus along this trail is that there now about 3 x as many benches as there used to be
