Applecross to Shieldaig Road
Information plate about the opening of the last section of the road in 1976.
Until that road to the North was completed, the only road access to Applecross was via the switchback winding road known as the Pass of the Cattle (Bealach na Bà in the Scottish Gaelic language)

Now that Pass of Cattle was a REAL road my friend. That new road must have been a Godsend though. A real bit of the NC500 here. Cheers.
