Très belle photo. Je suis intéressé par la façon de mettre la dernière rangée de pierres à la verticale; on trouve encore quelques murs comme cela dans le Var près de chez moi. Sais-tu pour quelle raison les pierres sont ainsi posées?

I have no explanation but it is a traditional method in many areas. I think it is partly decorative though perhaps for stability and although these walls are made with sandstone not far from here the limestone is used in a very similar way. Thank you for your interest Phil
