Collage of Pennine Way paving to Mill Hill
Miles of paving for walkers to try to protect the area. Before paving the paths got wider and wider as the boggy ground got wetter and wetter.
They do help but like the roads there are potholes, damaged slabs and areas liable to flooding and soon risk of ice !
