Half-day Closing on Tuesday, the couple who are retiring are real old school. I can’t think of another shop on the High Street that still closes. I have had some good shoes from them. From their point of view I am a bad customer I make them last.

Ha, ha............if I find a really comfortable pair of shoes (or walking boots) I tend to buy two pairs at the same time so I don't have to go shopping again for years :-)))
