I don’t use much petrol so it is interesting to list the last prices I paid for Unleaded

172 in May
191 in June
182 a week later in July(on holiday BP Coniston)
193 late July
Now 180. Note how I round up from 179.9 !

Interesting stuff Colin...................we're all being ripped off no matter where we live, but it's good to know that the oil companies are making £billions in profits :-(

I am just reading the letters in the Yorkshire Post today and the prices quoted are much higher in Harrogate (197 to 199 ) compared to Leeds where the writer found some at 186.
The answer appears to be they charge whatever people will pay and only reduce it when everyone drives past to somewhere cheaper.
