The Cage at NT Lyme Park

The Cage at NT Lyme Park
The Cage is something that has been photographed by millions of people including quite a few efforts by me. This angle is probably worth revisiting. I took 6 shots with different compositions and depth of field but all hand held. Maybe return with my tripod and Film camera - I put film in the camera but then didn’t take it :-(

I really like the light and the warm colours...........and the building looks interesting. I googled it and discovered it used to be a hunting lodge, but no one seems to know why it's known as the "cage".

I think this would be a much better composition without the tree......as the angle it's leaning spoils the foreground. Of course, that's just my opinion :-)

i take your point and perhaps I was just hypnotised by the bark on the tree making it the main subject not The Cage (or both)
