PROJECT 21 2ND Quarter: Architecture.

I got soaked just walking three streets to post a letter!

This shelter is a memorial to a former mayor. I walked past it every school day and of course occasionally ever since BUT I am not sure I have ever been in there. It is always been home for teenagers with nowhere to go.

Of course it had glass windows in there when constructed but the council gave up replacing smashed windows about 50 years ago. The ceiling is nicotine stained or maybe it just brown but as a smokers haunt for 60+ years I am probably correct with the first thought.
