Colin Ashcroft club has replied to Andy Rodker clubYes it is in a good location for the Peak District and some of the town (Old Glossop) is more attractive but even there houses are being built in every corner with busy narrow access roads with no sign of any improvements to match the expansion. i suggest Bakewell is mostly unchanged over decades
