Colin Ashcroft club has replied to Keith Burton clubBasically it's an area around the Reservoir that has no right of way but the locals have always just ignored it, climbed over walls, broken locks off gates etc. Not just a few people but hundreds do this. Locals give me a look like I am stupid when I question it and say things like "My Grandfather said it was OK" and so it goes on. We have lived here since 1965 (but are not a Local!) so if I see a no access sign I respect it
Keith Burton club has replied to Colin Ashcroft clubland has been accessed by the public for at least 20 years and nobody has asked them to stop.
See link: www.gov.uk/right-of-way-open-access-land
It sound to me like all parties need to sit down and be sensible about it! Vandalism is not the answer.
Colin Ashcroft club has replied to Keith Burton clubJust not accepted by the locals who walk the dogs, jog and even swim in the reservoir!
