Drove 180 miles from home to photograph the Mill Stones here only to find the battery for the camera was still in the charger back home. It was a new Camera on it's second outing and I hadn't had a chance to buy a spare. Fortunately I had an old point and shoot but the result was not the same.

That’s a sad story Maurice I hope still enjoyed the visit. It is very popular and there is lots of wear and tear compared to the last time I visited; many boots have walked the paths

A cracking view Colin. I love the green and brown of the bracken in the foreground and the more earthy colours beyond and up to the top of the ridge. The colour of the sky is sublime!

It must sometimes be difficult to find the right balance of promoting tourisim and preventing erosion to the land.
