The other side of Shire Hill

A wonderful Woodland with a Stone Quarry on the East Side.
A Peak District National Park Authority Wood (this is not a joke!).. www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/visiting-woods/wood/23434/shire-hill.
A steep wooded hillside popular with dog walkers. (Let's make it sound as unattractive as possible)

Cheers from David J'
Colin Ashcroft club has replied to David G Johnson clubThere is a really big fuss going on out in the County here ... a Stone Quarry has 'supposedly' pulled permits to start blasting !
Oh, yes - the homes near by are just thrilled ! They found out through a local - weekly newspaper .. now, here we go to court !
Sometimes I just wonder ... that place has been there forever ... nobody has touched it - til NoW ..
Colin Ashcroft club has replied to Peggy C clubPeggy C club has replied to Colin Ashcroft clubEven though we do our best (can only speak for me ) to elect people we think will have the interests of the Country and The Citizens who elected them at heart -- seems once some grab power it is no holds barred.
They are in it for themselves ... period.
Yes, you know exactly who I mean !
