incoming Curlew ( 19 seen today)

I guess these must be British resident birds coming up from the west country or the near continent as those returning from Scandinavia and Russia don't arrive until June. But it a joy to see that nature is beginning to stir from Winter.

yes I can’t imagine they have travelled far it may just be Irish Sea coast areas like Ribble Estuary or Morecambe Bay

Nice one Colin. That's quite a large flock..........I only ever see the odd one or two.
