not a bird I come across very often. in fact the last time was two years ago and it was slightly higher up in a shrub on the opposite side of the path I was walking.

The nearest one is hopefully under control now - the army were stood down yesterday. I saw the second blaze at Winter Hill ( Near Bolton ) last Saturday when it was at its height it looked just as bad as the local one at the start. That is still a major incident. The Bolton fire was arson and someone has been arrested.
