Three cracking shots of these rocks Colin. I think this one is the best as it gives a better view of the surrounding landscape. The composition is also superb - the faint pathway makes a great leading line and the main rocks are positioned very nicely. I love the earthy colours in this shot too. An instant fave for me!

Thanks the area is very interesting but the land management includes controlled burning of the heather with the area bottom right is an example of a patch that is now growing again. Chunal Moor is a Grouse Shooting moor ( zoom out a few times on the satellite version of map to see the patterns of burnt areas)
