Roa Island

Roa Island
This was taken from the causeway to Foulney Island at low tide. I only had a compact camera to hand (so its low resolution) but its still always been a favourite of mine.

Doug Shepherd, Andy Rodker, ROL/Photo, Thérèse have particularly liked this photo

It was a memorable day but under grey skies this was about as much colour there was to be seen - some other photos from the day were converted to b/w to try ti make them clearer

It's excellent! All my shots are low res. I only have a cameraphone and a small digital. If I could afford to upgrade then maybe I would!

yes its the content that matters first but I do enjoy having a higher res DSLR image for wildlife especially as that can mean cropping a photo to get something worth sharing. Glad you like the photo
