Haven't set foot here since the 80s. I always managed it when the West Indies were thrashing us! Still, it was always good to see the likes of Viv Richards, Gordon Greenidge, Michael Holding, Joel Garner, Malcolm Marshall et al performing!

They were great days. I followed cricket and attended many matches in the 1970s and 1980s and was lucky to see those great WI players. I have only been to County finals at Lords but did see some of Viv Richards greatest innings e.g. double hundred at 1976 Test at Trent Bridge and his record one day score at Old Trafford supported by Michael Holding who hardly had to face a ball in the partnership :-)

Great days indeed, except for the English team!!! I remember one summer when we had four captains (1988 I think) and all was confusion in the English camp. Things only started to improve gradually when Gooch became captain. I envy you seeing Viv Richards in his prime, I never saw him bat for a long spell, only one or two short cameos.
