Made a few years ago... photographed last week. Lester Capon taught us a limp vellum binding sewn on tapes. The book has rolled leather headbands and the tapes were made of vellum as well.

The cardstock endpapers are not attached to the vellum cover in any way, the cover only folds over them. Corners made according to Jen Lindsay's article in the New Bookbinder (11/1991).

Extended vellum tapes as clasps. I only wanted two clasps so the middle tape is cut shorter and left hidden inside the cover.
