For as long as I live, I'll just put this screenshot everywhere until someone actually sees me. When I learnt about emotional flashbacks (vs. visual flashbacks) it all started to make sense to me, as in why things are as they are, and what can be done, and how. All of this is so important.

We tend to edit and re-edit our memories throughout our lives, hence I don't fully trust what i remember as fact. However visual memories and flashbacks, good & bad, I trust far more than narrative memories.
