Sadly it's not mine, although one of my shirts had a somewhat similar treatment... I'm not sure whether it's a good or a bad thing that we have come to this.

This shirt was originally dyed with some plant material and ended up sitting in the ashes after we realised the ash turns the dyed fabric red-brown. Someone more science savvy might explain it further, but anyway, apparently it changes the pH and fun things happen.
