Weeds
I have no idea what these are -except that they are weeds in our garden. The flower heads are maybe 6mm across. Taken with reversed SMC Pentax M 50/1.4.
View from Pak Ou Caves
Upstream from Luang Prabang there is an impressive view across the Mekong River to the village of Pak Ou from the caves of that name. In the caves there are huge numbers of Buddha statues - some extremely old.

Monks Luang Prabang
Every morning, hundreds of Buddhist monks walk the streets of Luang Prabang to gather and distribute alms. With their saffron robes, they make a spectacular sight.
Indochine
Luang Prabang was one of the provincial capitals in French Indochina. The old "Indochine" is still easily found in many of the old colonial style buildings in this lovely World Heritage listed town.
