Memories

I won't claim any special photographic merit for this photo. It was taken in Vancouver when Pauline and I visited one of my Antarctic colleagues with whom I spent a year (1966) at Mawson Station. Max was our station electrician and a keen mountaineer.
Today would have been Pauline's birthday. Sadly, I have also learned that today Max has climbed the final mountain. RIP to you both.

Bonne soirée.
YOU THREE SHALL MEET AGAIN.. THE OTHER SIDE OF THE RAINBOW BRIDGE AT THE TURTLE POND.
HUGSSSSSSSSSSSS
Best greetings, Udo
and at the same time, a loving dedication to your late friend Max.
Thank you for sharing your memory of Pauline and him with us, George.
May Pauline and Max too, Rest in Peace.
Best wishes & take care.
I didn't know Pauline in person, only through you, but I don't know why sometimes I see her smile in my mind, like if she was smiling at me...
Her and Max are two more stars in the infinite darkness of the sky...
