Visiting King
A King Parrot (Alisterus scapularis) who dropped in for a visit. These are large but quite timid and, although he wanted to visit our feeder, a smaller Crimson Rosella easily kept him away.

The huge yellow tailed blacks that we get here are the same...they are amazingly timid for a bird that is double the size of any of the other parrots ....
