It's Garbage!

Local "Landcare" volunteers sorting bags of garbage collected alongside nearby roads, as our contribution toward "Clean Up Australia Day". Officially it's 2 March, but because of other commitments we brought our local effort forward.

Interesting that you mention tourists, there is little problem here except in the holiday seasons when the tourists arrive. It seems, as you suggest, that it's considered OK to make a mess of someone else's place.
