built 1797 by nash as southgate grove, later renamed as grovelands , the house is now known better as the priory clinic,amongst other things famous for treatment of a long list of celebrity addictions. it is divided from its now-public parkland by this iron fence, unexpectedly full of gaps considering this is a psychiatric clinic.
