not far from marble arch this art deco former church was built in 1926-7 by o.p.milne for this misleadingly named american cult which denies the reality of the world and the use of medicine by its followers. the building is now the sylvia young theatre school. the cult seems to be dying out everywhere but africa, but like many such religions has left a wealthy corpse, particularly in america of course.
