excellent modern replacement carvings on the buttresses south of the choir , c.2011, low down on the south side, replacing destroyed monsters, and showing great spirit; brilliant sculptor, and good that the cathedral would pay for details that would be missed by most tourists, being hidden away in the gap between the transepts.
