unbelievably, it seems that churchwardens are still uprooting gravemarkers in the name of efficiency and tidiness. concurrently, they allow hideous alien marble concoctions to sprout, though some recent gravestones buck the trend, bringing art and craft back to memorials in the place of the horrors of green glass and mass produced sentiment. this great collection of cast iron markers from the c19 will probably go for scrap if not stolen first, absolutely criminal.
