after the I.R.A. bomb blew this little church to bits in 1993, the rebuild has done it no favours. only the arcade of 1390 has been retained, and that is spacially compromised by the glazed-in two storey offices that replace the south aisle. even fittings that survived have been swept away to make a "space for peace and reconciliation". a ruin might have been preferable to this slick void.
