st.peter's church, canterbury

interior looking n.e., with one remaining early norman arch, the rest latest c12. the east window c14, as are the crown posts of all the roofs. this could be a pleasantly spacious church, but is spoiled by junk and notices everywhere, especially by the dreadful pendant heaters, and by tables and chairs pointing in all directions cluttering up the wide aisles. the organ is poorly sited too.
