the c15 nave roof is of unusual construction, alternating hammerbeams with arched braces with pendants. the odd figures everywhere are from the 1860s, and beyond the chancel arch [which shows signs of having carried a tympanum] can be seen the hefty tie beams over the timber chancel, probably c14
