hauxton church
the church is basically norman c11, retaining windows, doorway and chancel arch from this date. transepts were later added and subtracted, and the apse replaced with a straight end. tower and roof are c15. c13 niches bracket the chancel arch, one with a mural of 1250 of thomas a' becket.
