Larvae of a species of leaf-beetle

I think that the species is Paropsis deboeri, a Tasmanian endemic that feeds on Eucalyptus. Their warning colours and clustering behaviour protect them from getting eaten. They are probably distasteful of even toxic. When I disturbed them, they all raised their heads together - quite disconcerting! Leven Canyon
