I think there are about thirty wrecks from Dalreoch Railway Bridge to the mouth of the Leven. Under the UK Salvage Law, if you lift a wreck from tidal waters, you bring upon yourself a lot of expensive and legal responsibilities. It's cheaper to leave them where they are.
