Henry Bell Portrait
Henry Bell (7 April 1767 – 14 March 1830) was a Scottish engineer known for introducing the first successful passenger steamboat service in Europe. Bell died at Helensburgh in 1830, aged 62.
He was interred in the Rhu churchyard.
